Dr Takesh Luckho holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and a Masters in Applied Economics (specialisation in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy) and a PhD in International and Development Economics from the University of Mauritius (UOM). Dr Luckho has been working in various public and private sectors (local and international) over the years, including higher education institutes and is currently posted as a full-time lecturer in economics at the Open University of Mauritius (OU). Dr Luckho’s research interest is centred on topics like regional integration, international trade policymaking and development-related issues such as poverty, inequality and gender bias.
