Abheenaye Chauhan Gokhool is a lecturer in Marketing and Management at the Open University of Mauritius since 2013. He holds a master’s degree in Global Business Management and is also a certified Digital Marketing Professional. As an academic, he is involved in teaching, supervision and moderation of dissertations, setting and moderation of examination papers, developing curriculum and manuals, research and chairing of board of examiners. He has also been involved with different stakeholders in the development of customised courses for specific audiences. His academic interest areas include marketing and management, digital marketing, marketing communications, international marketing, consumer buyer behaviour, advertising, leadership and open and distance learning. Besides being an academic, he is also the programme manager of several courses and the liaison person between the CILT (UK) and the Open University of Mauritius.
